| Random repeating events, those without a discernible pattern, were called Custom
Duplicate events in CalendarMaker 4. This type of random repeating event is not supported
in CalendarMaker 5. The only method for making these events in CalendarMaker 5 is
to make the first event, then copy the event (not just the event text) and paste
it on those days where it is to occur. The disadvantages of this new method are twofold.
First, you need to switch to each month where the event is to occur and paste it
on the desired days. Second, and more important, if you wish to make a change, you
will need to use the search feature in the toolbar and then change each event individually.
The addition of a random repeating events might be included in a future version.
It was omitted from the current version to maintain compatibility with Apple. |
